Team Zenith represents a leading student initiative dedicated to advancing robotics and space exploration. The team focuses on the design, development, and operation of Mars rovers for international competitions and research projects, creating a platform for students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions. Alongside rover development, the team actively promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among engineering, science, and technology students, ensuring holistic and impactful outcomes. Beyond competitions, Team Zenith engages in research on advanced robotic systems, intending to establish itself as a robotics research hub within RUET. Our First Rover

This is our first rover, designed with a modular architecture that allows easy adaptation for different missions and continuous improvement in future iterations.

Future Plans

Zenith Rover

Our flagship Mars Rover is designed to compete in the University Rover Challenge (URC) and similar competitions. It features advanced mobility systems, scientific instruments, and autonomous capabilities.

Four-wheel system with modified rocker suspension capable of traversing rough terrain and navigating uneven surfaces.

Robotic Arm

6-DOF manipulator arm with gripper for sample collection, equipment manipulation, and precision tasks.

Our Story

Team Zenith develops a variety of innovative projects, including advanced line-following robots, soccer bots, and automated railway line-changing systems. The team has actively participated in several prestigious competitions, showcasing these robots and earning acknowledgment for their technical expertise and creativity. Most notably, Team Zenith competed in the IRDC Mars Rover Competition 2024, where its rover design and performance received significant recognition. Through these initiatives, Team Zenith has not only strengthened its technical capabilities in robotics, automation, and system design but also fostered interdisciplinary collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Representing RUET's culture of innovation and excellence, the team continues to push the boundaries of engineering and technology, inspiring future generations and showcasing Bangladesh's talent on international platforms.
